The materials in this package provide general awareness and function-specific information needed to ship infectious and biological specimens. Furthermore, this program helps meet the biannual training requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT), the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) and the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for certified training.
Disc #1 is a CD that includes a leader’s guide that will assist you with the training and examples of the attendance sheet, quiz and evaluation form that you can print out.
Disc #2 is a 22 minute DVD that addresses the proper way to safely and legally ship infectious and biological specimens.
Successful completion of this program will grant 0.1 CEU from the ASCLS PACE Program. This program is also approved for 0.1 CEU for California and Florida license renewal.
