The Safety Lady® will present the very latest in laboratory safety requirements

There have been lots of changes to the safety requirements for clinical laboratories.   For labs shipping or receiving specimens worldwide and the ISO15190 requirements are of interest.    The Department of Transportation (DOT) has also changed their definition of an infectious substance and how it must be shipped.   Even the College of American Pathologists (CAP) in conjunction with the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI), formerly NCCLS, has changed how they address safety issues in GP17-A2.

This program will present the very latest in laboratory safety requirements including noise, PPE, safe work practices, ergonomics, and shipping specimens.   As always, Terry Jo will entertain as well as inform and allow ample time for you to “Ask the Safety Lady®” about any issues you are facing at your facility.
